About the position

We are searching for a highly engaged experienced MRI Technologist to provide direct and indirect patient care in the hospital/outpatient setting while supporting the organization’s mission and vision.  Perform procedures and examinations in hospital/outpatient MRI departments under the direction of radiologists and other medical officers to produce MRI studies which are used in medical diagnosis. Receive and interpret requests and/or instructions for MRI procedures; gain the cooperation of patients by effectively explaining the procedure; operate MRI equipment; protect patients from secondary radiation; and record results. These positions require knowledge of radiation protection standards; knowledge of the function of the major divisions of the skeletal system, major organs, and cross sectional anatomy.  Participate in CQI and Lean/Kaizen activities.

Job Requirements

•                    Current State of Florida license to practice radiography.

•                    Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.

•                    Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

•                    ARRT certification in the specific modality worked.

•                    Current BCLS certification.
