Parts and Warehouse Supply Manager

Description:  Advantage is currently hiring a qualified Purchasing and Warehousing Candidate for one of our clients.  This is a Temp to Hire Position and our client is looking for immediate hire. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Timely ordering of parts, supplies and materials for shop departments
  • Review shipping receipts for accuracy
  • Researching quickest most cost effective delivery schedules to meet customer demands
  • Follow up on all open purchase orders
  • Negotiate pricing with vendors for service and quantity purchasing as directed
  • Work with shop supervisors as necessary to ensure effective inter-departmental coordination and customer satisfaction

Requirements:  The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise):

  • High School diploma
  • Ability to work flexible schedule
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an industrial buyer
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Planning and organizing skills
  • Communication skills
  • Initiative

(Salary Depends on Experience)
