 This person will directly assist the Human Resources Department including  assisting with recruitment, benefits, onboarding, off boarding, company newsletters, and company events. Maintains and secures all current employee files, transfers and records relating to active employee data. Process all documentation for the termination process and sends out proper notices to the departments. Performs other related duties with the job classification or organizations as necessary or as assigned by Management.  

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  1. Assist Recruitment Coordinator with the recruiting process (reviewing resumes, pre-screens, forwarding resumes to hiring managers, setting up interviews, etc)
  2. Assisting Benefits Coordinator as needed, primarily during open enrollment.
  3. Prepares ID Badges for employees as needed.
  4. Process exit paperwork for employees who have resigned from the company. File termination report for those with child support enforcement.  Set up and schedule exit interview of employee.
  5. Verifies employment to current and past employees to outside organizations with proper request and written approval of interested parties. 
  6. Manages the Internal Transfer and Promotion Processes, including generating paperwork and setting up new badges

 

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

  1. Assists with the company anniversary program which includes tracking, packet preparing, event planning, supervisor and manager notification, award allocation and CEO summary notes.
  2. Prepares packets for new hire orientations.
  3. Creates and maintains a list of all new hire personal anniversaries and birthdays, along with other information to create the employee monthly newsletter.
  4. Communicates on an interpersonal basis with all employees concerning company policies and protocol, as stated in the policy and procedures manual.

 

 

 

 

Job Requirements

 Education:

Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school) Preferred, Field of Study: Human Resources

 

Experience:

3 plus years of experience in Human Resources

 

Computer Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
