Radio Frequency Antenna Engineer

Job Description

Radio Frequency Engineer position available in Rochester, MI

Your Primary Roles/Responsibilities:
  • Represent and support Client objective towards customer satisfaction and new OEM antenna business growth
  • Provide Customer interface and communications on all program activities
  • Support execution of OEM vehicle program launches
  • Work with Customers to integrate system components into vehicle environment.
  • Co-manage release of documents and drawings per OEM system requirements (ie. EWOs, ECPS, E2s, PRTSs, etc.)
  • Coordinate program timing and execution issues and action items with Client and OEM's Europe and China program team members
  • Assist in verifying mechanical design concepts and packaging studies on existing and potential new programs and projects
  • Utilize MCAD skill set in assisting with data transfers
  • Support prototype and production build events as required
  • Approve and release engineering drawings
  • Manage, track, and ensure closure of all open technical issues according to project time line and customer request.
  • Attend Product Development Team meetings
  • Make technical presentations and reports
  • Participate in cross functional development teams within the company to develop and communicate program deliverables, priorities, and timeline targets based on customer derived expectations and internal requirements
  • Support the launch of new products into production and post activities of the launch
  •  Develop and maintain program timing and open issues lists.

Job Requirements

Your Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Working knowledge, understanding, and experience with design, evaluation and integration of vehicle antenna systems.
  • Facilitate good communication and trust with internal and external customers and suppliers.
  • Ensure customer understanding of Company products and engineering by preparing and providing clear technical presentations and explanations to internal and external customers.
  • Requires the ability to carry out all of the duties of the position efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written technical communication skills required
Your Educational Requirements:
  • BS Electrical Engineering or equivalent
