As an industry leader we are looking for an exceptional Sourcer to join our Marketing team. This role will support and improve bid sourcing throughout the organization while executing a variety of sourcing initiatives as directed. The Sourcer plays an important role in the overall bid process and is primarily responsible for finding and qualifying new bidding opportunities or leads across a variety of off and online resources, distributing those leads to various internal departments for further vetting, and tracking results. Operating as a team player, this position will serve as a member of the Proposal Team, and work collaboratively with both the external organization and Business Development in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining the Company core values of Integrity, Candor, Accountability, Respect and Excellence. 

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication and project management skills. 

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, preferably in Marketing or Business 
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of demonstrable work experience in the same or similar role is preferred 
  • Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling and rules of composition
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Ability to work effectively independently and with other team members, both in person and at a distance
  • Ability to organize and complete work in a timely manner
  • Must have analytical skills, including bid assessment and data mining, and then forming concise insights and actionable recommendations
  • Must be a self-starter / team player who can dive right in and take ownership of the bid sourcing process without constant direction 
  • Must have strong business communication skills which includes clear and succinct messaging in writing and verbally 
  • Must have strong customer service and support skills
  • Must have working knowledge of computers and software systems including Microsoft Office products and the Internet; advanced proficiency in Excel preferred
  • Must be able to work for prolonged periods of sitting, typing and use of the phone and computer
  • Must successfully complete onboarding training/tutorials and attend future webcasts/trainings as required
