Job Responsibilities


As a full time Physical Therapist, you will perform and direct physical therapy treatment toward preventing disability, relieving pain, developing, improving and/or restoring muscle function and maintaining maximum performance within the patients’ capabilities in accordance with the plan or care/treatment.


Additional duties for this health care role include, but are not limited to:


  • Planning, implementing and providing physical therapy services according to accepted principles and standards of practice
  • Participating in providing multi-disciplinary care for patients
  • Performing appropriate Physical Therapy evaluations
  • Designing and implementing appropriate treatment plans based on the analysis and interpretation of evaluation results
  • Reporting all appropriate data to resident's record
  • Consistently providing exceptional customer service

Job Requirements


We are seeking a reliable and personable Physical Therapist who combines the knowledge and skills necessary to perform all procedures as outlined, with the ability to contribute as a team member or independently under minimal supervision. You should be highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to positively adapt to change. It is also important that you are highly organized and that you demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact effectively with health team members, residents, and families.


Specific qualifications for this full time health care role include:


  • Graduate of a professional physical therapy training program accredited by the APTA
  • Current CPR certification
  • Current and valid license as a Physical Therapist by the Michigan Department of Community Health, Bureau of Health Professions
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to take actions to meet customer needs
  • Demonstrated competency with physical therapy skills according to personal and legal scope of practice
  • Previous physical therapy experience in sub-acute care, long-term and home care settings, a plus

  • A qualified candidate will be a graduate of a professional training program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), and have a current Physical Therapist license issued by the Michigan Department of Community Health, Bureau of Health Professions.
