We are looking for a:
 
Product Manager, Electrical Cables - USA
 
Your role:
  • Cultivate and establish lasting relationships within technical departments at key clients and participate in all aspects of the developments processes for high voltage and electrical cables for the automotive industry
  • Establish LEONI Cable Inc. technology superiority image in the market and lead regional team to continuously build and strengthen the LEONI Cable brand.
  • Identify customer requirements and work with clients and functional teams in a consultative manner developing solutions-oriented answers to their cable needs.
  • Manage and continuously improve electrical cables portfolio with regard to product mix as well as technological and customer requirements
  • Manage certifications, projects, product transfers, and ramp-ups from initiation to realization in serial product according to Leoni quality standards
  • Influence (global) technical and sales roadmaps for automotive high voltage cable portfolio
  • Interface with other critical global, regional and local functions, as necessary, to ensure that proper and sufficient support exists within the company, for technical and marketing efforts.
  • Support of Sales department in commercial aspects relative to assigned customers and product lines.
  • Interface to relevant standardization committees.
 
Your background:
  • Experience in OEM / Tier 1 technical environment with demonstrated ability to leverage core technical capabilities
  • Proven ability to respond effectively to market direction, customer needs and major competitors' positions by providing timely feedback to marketing and product development functions.
  • Ability to understand and leverage technical details for product and company differentiation
  • Demonstrated people and communication skills within a fast-paced global environment/organization
  • Ability to operate effectively with limited supervision and set goals and objectives for an organization while , respecting and executing successfully the strategic goals of the overall organization
  • Completed study in a relevant technical academic discipline such as electrical engineering (or equivalent) required. 
  • Fluent English skills required; German or Spanish Language skills are an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
  • Excellent knowledge of common desktop tools (i.e. MS Office)
