Based in Louisville, KY, Schneider Electric’s Energy & Sustainability Services (ESS) division addresses clients’ diverse energy and sustainability management needs. Experts within the division provide integrated solutions to meet clients energy supply, demand and sustainability challenges. Position Summary:
ESS Global Demand Offer Management:  This position is responsible for developing the ESS Demand Services Offer Strategy and Developing the Offer Portfolio to support the business strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
Develop and communicate ESS "demand services" go to market strategy through market research and facilitating alignment between key ESS stakeholders, while accommodating geographic localization as required, and linking together in a portfolio of demand services "offers."
Serve as the single "voice" for ESS demand services to consolidate and prioritize current global and local market needs and challenge key stakeholders to anticipate future market needs to better differentiate in the market. Also work actively with the ESS Executive Leadership team to foster a shared understanding of the offer and alignment with supply services and sustainability services in the context of "Active Energy Management."
Animate offers by working with operations teams to define how they are executed, with the sales team to define how and where they are sold.
Serve as the primary input to the marketing team to provide direction on the offer value proposition how to market the offers as a simplified and linked portfolio of services.
Position responsibilities:
Create ongoing process to collect and prioritize market data (customer, competition, operations, and sales) to inform on and recommend offer development activities.
Create and regularly update an offer roadmap for current and future offers. Regularly assess the market and competitive environment to anticipate future offer needs.
Work with internal subject matter experts to develop and refine the consulting, connected, and engineering service offers, including pricing, sales support, definition of how the services are executed and sold.
Work with the ESS revenue leaders and Demand services SME's as a key stakeholder to help translate the "20% by 2020" ambition for demand services into named markets, accounts and the development of leading, lagging measures to predict success.
Be a key contributor for accelerating sales teams’ adoption and effectiveness in selling and growing the demand services business through training of offers, engagement in marketing programs, coaching on market and account targeting, providing continuous oversight of selling activity to recommend actions for improvement.

Job Requirements

Essential skills and qualifications:
Collaboration​ – ability to and lead diverse group of stake holders to drive consensus
Problem solving – ability to diagnose complex needs of our customers and simplify them down to relevant services
Leading by influence​- work with stakeholders at an individual contributor, manager, and ESS executive level to lead and influence. 
Communication – be an effective communicator, both written and verbal, at all levels of the organization, internal and external. 
Synthesis and translation – be able to work in a detailed environment to define complex needs of an offer set, often synthesizing from many sources, and thinking at a high level to understand general market trends and needs
Bachelor’s degree required, along with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in an Energy and Sustainability Services market with direct customer-interface experience either in sales or client relationship, or equivalent experience.
Existing knowledge of the energy and sustainability market industry and a proven track record of success in either an operational or commercial role.
