Sales Executive - HVAC/Construction

Job Description

Our client located in Sterling, VA is in search for a Sales Executive. They are an established and well-respected engineering and construction firm serving the Baltimore-Washington area. The company is focused on providing comprehensive mechanical solutions for our commercial, industrial, institutional, and government clients. Their skilled craftsmen areas include HVAC technicians, sheet metal mechanics, pipe fitters, plumbers, and installers.

Responsibilities:

  • Works with sales manager to develop and implement plans to take advantage of sales opportunities for new and assigned accounts within territory
  • Solicit and close construction contracts for commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities Develop and manage a portfolio of clients
  • Qualifies, estimates, and prepare all proposals
  • Facilitate job kick-off meetings and surveys with clients and our clients personnel
  • Represent our client as a continued leader in the mechanical and plumbing construction markets
  • Interact with internal support personnel as well as field staff
  • Works with project managers to ensures a smooth sales transition to operations.
  • Prepares accurate and thorough sales activity and forecast reports.
  • Actively participates in sales meetings, workshops and seminars to consistently grow in professional knowledge.
  • Participates in networking events through professional organizations.
  • Develops and builds long-term relationships with all types of clients to become the trusted advisor
