ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Wholesale Flooring & Cabinets Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling new ProSource memberships, and for servicing member accounts, and assuring profitability of each assigned account. You will provide flooring and cabinet sales support to Trade Professional Members and their Clients. Working in a well maintained showroom environment, you will be expected to generate new members from your assigned prospect territory, to meet with members who visit the showroom, and to maintain relationships with current and previous members. As a part of a cohesive team, your efforts will directly contribute to the success of this growing business, as well as, the businesses of your Members.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Are a master at Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
  • Have creative problem-solving techniques and the ability to effectively apply them to customer needs
  • You are ready to step in and assist other team members when needed
  • You are able to easily establish rapport and credibility with a wide range of current and prospective members
  • You are proficient at following up with Members regarding orders, estimates, and quotes
  • You are a seeker of knowledge about Flooring & Cabinet products in order to better sell to and service Members and their Clients
  • You are a promoter of the ProSource model when making calls and conducting showroom tours to Prospective Members
  • You are a dynamic salesperson able to provide examples of comparable products a different price points when assisting in the product selection process
  • You are a marketer of showroom promotions and events


Job Requirements

We are looking for a hard-working Inside Sales Account Manager who combines ambition and drive with a commitment to world-class customer service. Our most successful Account Managers have come from a wide variety of backgrounds, but all have approached this position aggressively and have been willing to put in hard-work to build their member base. We look for Account Managers with strong verbal and written communication skills, an upbeat attitude, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize proficiently. It is also important that you display excellent interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Specific qualifications for the Inside Sales role include:

  • Proven track record in sales or a relevant background
  • Excellent negotiation and closing abilities
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of members and their clients, as well as to, the general public
  • Ability to understand and effectively communicate numerical data, and to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages
  • Knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and general internet competency
  • Wholesale sales or Flooring / Cabinets experience, a plus
  • B2B Sales or Commercial Business Sales experience preferred
