Sapp Bros., Inc. was started by the four Sapp brothers in Omaha at the junction of I-80 and Highway 50 in 1971.  The entity now known as Sapp Bros., Inc. was incorporated in October of 1988.  Prior to then, the travel centers were each separate corporations, under the central leadership of W. D. Sapp. Sapp Bros., Inc. has grown into a chain of sixteen travel centers.

Retention Policy on Applications and Applicant Data for Non-Hires in the State of Utah:
Sapp Bros, Inc. will destroy any printed applicant data, including application and any other forms with applicant data on them, via approved shredder when the hiring decision is made and the hiring manager believes that the applicant is no longer under consideration. All electronically stored data pertaining to non-hired applicants, unless required to be held for pending litigation or other legal purposes, will be properly deleted after no longer than two years.
