Overview
Prairie Meadows has been a vital part of the central Iowa community since it began operations in 1989. Throughout the years, our mission has remained the same: to promote economic development, agriculture, jobs, tourism and entertainment and provide financial contributions to programs and organizations that improve the quality of life for all Iowans. 

Community Betterment
 
Prairie Meadows is proud to offer a year-round entertainment facility that employs over 1,400 central Iowans. Prairie Meadows has given more than $500 million to the community in support of the arts, education, economic development, jobs and tourism. 

Grants
 
As part of its ongoing commitment to Polk County and the state of Iowa, Prairie Meadows supports a broad range of not-for-profit proposals and projects through an annual grant program. Funds are awarded in the following four general categories: Human Services, Education, Economic Development, and Arts & Culture.
