Founded
in 1997, we opened our first store in Riverside, California by three childhood
friends from Wichita, Kansas. Thanks to their determination to be better and a
strong entrepreneurial spirit (which is very much alive in the company today),
Speedy Cash Holdings Corporation is an American success story. We will grow
well beyond 350 plus stores in the United States, Canada, and England, and
3,900 plus employees with corporate headquarters in Wichita, Kansas.

The
energized and entrepreneurial culture we work diligently to foster makes it an
opportunistic growth company that delivers long-term prosperity to their employees.
The only limitation for career growth is an individual’s amount of motivation.

Come and work for an organization that has
distinguished itself from competitors with quality product offerings, genuine
customer service, robust operating systems, a state-of-the-art call center, and
a track record of new product innovation!

VISION | We strive to be

Culture

At Speedy Cash Holdings Corporation we recognize who we are, where we are going and the core values we nurture. We take great pride in our reputation, innovation, and our creative systems that drive performance. More importantly we know these are generated by, and delivered through, our people. We have created and vigorously protect our passionate culture. Living by our values starts at the top and every teammate is expected to walk our talk.

Everything we do—and all of the values that we outline here—ultimately translate into how our people treat our Customers and how we want them to treat our Customers and each other—with honesty, respect, humility, integrity, and a positive, engaging personality. Our leaders understand that they are building blocks in a foundation of good behaviors that work all the way to our people who interact with Customers.

Core Values-
Our culture, values, and core beliefs are held near and dear to us and we do our best to define them.

define ourselves by:

Winning with Integrity
We compete hard and do what is right. Regardless of the size of the challenge we pull together, envision success and then relentlessly execute until we’ve achieved our goals. We celebrate and reward success. We actively create new challenges that are bigger, bolder, and more audacious than previous ones. We continuously improve in all areas where we direct focus and energy. For us, everything that might look impossible is turned into an opportunity to learn and grow, to stretch us and to continuously raise the bar.

Thriving on Change
We embrace change from a proactive stance with flexibility and responsiveness. As industry leaders, constant change is the norm for us. People who don’t enjoy and embrace change will not survive for long. We never accept or get comfortable with the status quo. We will never rest on our laurels. Change brings new opportunities, bigger goals, complex projects, more initiatives, and tougher deadlines. Change drives our creativity and we seek new, trusted, or alternative ways to meet our Customers’ needs and business objectives. We know we can always do better, yet never allow the pursuit of perfection to become an inhibitor to execution or action. We move quickly, remain flexible, and quickly recognize problems and change with a calculated decisiveness when needed.

Building relationships based on trust, honesty, and respect
We approach all people with openness and candor. We strive to become more self-aware. We own and manage personal and professional behavior, while facing conflict with honesty and care, with an appreciation for the value of diversity. We confront our interpersonal challenges and work it out. We encourage tough love and difficult dialogue and want no one holding back. We expect our people to care about and trust each other, and to provide guidance and support in times of or uncertainty.

Execute with Urgency and Passion
We move fast with a sense of excitement and an entrepreneurial spirit. Our passion and positive energy are tangible; they are present in everything we do. If they are missing, we work diligently to learn why and find a way to correct it. We are less interested in hearing why something can’t be done, but more in what it takes to get it done. We will invest in the resources and people needed to succeed. We expect all teammates to understand their role in taking relevant business risk. We enjoy working in an environment of high expectations, responsibility, and accountability.

Keeping our Commitments
We walk our talk, and do what we say we will do. When we make commitments – we strive to keep them, no matter what it takes. People are expected to own their commitments from beginning to end, and to rely on colleagues in the spirit of collaboration. We empower our people to accomplish their mission. We move with urgency and purpose – we get it done.

Leading with humility
Check your ego, best idea wins. Ours is a shared success. Our leaders deflect personal praise onto the people who contributed to the success. When things do not go as planned, our leaders step in to take the heat. We do not serve egos, nor do we tolerate empire building or power struggles. Leaders can disagree vigorously, make arguments, and have heated discussions – but when the dust settles, the Best Idea Wins – not a person or group. No one leaves the room without an honest commitment and alignment on the goals and decisions.

Our leaders move with purpose, passion, and are approachable; the people they lead rely on them to provide honest feedback.

Our leaders remain grateful for the opportunity, authority, responsibility and influence entrusted to them. They encourage and promote gratitude in every relationship and activity on behalf of the Company.
