Beyond just providing for a person’s basic needs, Hattie Larlham recognizes the importance of socialization, relationships and fun. When an individual receives services from Hattie Larlham, whether at the Center for Children with Disabilities, a community home or in their own home, they are in the hands of those who not only give care but who do care.
Hattie Larlham knows that there is more to life than just work and more to a job than just a paycheck. Since Hattie Larlham respects the need for a healthy, satisfied workforce, employees may be eligible for some or all of the following benefits.
Guardian Dental coverage
$15,000 group policy with the option to purchase additional voluntary life insurance
Employees hired after January 1, 1999, who work 40 hours per week and part-time employees who transfer to 40 hours per week, are eligible for up to a maximum of 80 hours of paid vacation after one year of continuous employment. Employees who work a minimum of 32 hours per week are entitled to up to 64 hours of paid vacation after the first year.
Full-time employees will receive up to an additional eight hours of vacation each subsequent year through four years of employment.
Employees with five years of employment will be eligible for a maximum of 120 hours of paid vacation.
Employees with 10 years of employment will be eligible for a maximum of 160 hours of paid vacation.
Paid sick leave will begin to accumulate upon hiring. Employees working full-time (40 hours/week) are provided with four hours of sick leave pay for every 173 hours worked (six days per year). Sick time is pro-rated for part-time employees.
Matched Retirement Savings Plan
Contributions can begin at time of benefit eligibility. Hattie Larlham matches 25 cents for every $1 invested up to six percent after one year of continuous employment.
Full-time and regularly scheduled part-time employees are eligible for educational assistance. Employees will be reimbursed for costs of tuition and related book charges based on final grade.
