Overview
Established in 1896, Volunteers of America of Kentucky is one of the region’s oldest, largest, and most diverse not-for-profit businesses. Today, we reach more than 20,000 people annually through 36 distinct human service programs operating in Kentucky, Tennessee, Southern Indiana, West Virginia, and Southern Ohio.

  • Addiction recovery services for specific populations, including veterans, pregnant and parenting women, and formerly incarcerated men
  • Home-based and non-residential support for people with developmental disabilities
  • Housing and supportive services for seniors with low-incomes, people with mental illness, and women with disabilities
  • Employment-focused programs for veterans
  • HIV testing and prevention services and medical case management for people living with HIV
