Established in 1954, LaForce has grown to be a leading distributor of doors, frames and hardware in the industry. As the construction industry has evolved over the years, LaForce has evolved with it. In the late 1960s, we added in-house door and frame production capabilities. In the 1980s, we were one of the first in our industry to begin computerizing our processes. In 2000, we began to offer security options to our customers and have grown that into our current Security Integration department - a team of security experts that can design and manage security systems of any size. Most recently we began offering specification writing and fire door inspection services.

To be the best possible resource for our customers, each department at LaForce specializes in a different task involved in the selling and completing of a job. Our employees are highly educated and trained to be experts in their tasks so that we can complete jobs efficiently and accurately. Customized computer programming allows seamless communication between departments, ensuring that customer needs are met quickly. To support our specialized departments, we use our own fleet of vehicles allowing better control over delivery time.

With some of the most highly respected individuals in the door, frame and hardware industry on our staff, we are well positioned to teach the next generation of industry experts.

Part of the Community

LaForce is proud to be a part of the community and is excited to give back! LaForce is an avid supporter of the United Way—each summer, we proudly sponsor one week where we promote the organization to our employees and encourage them to give back to the community they're a part of. There is always something exciting; contests, door prizes, etc., however we don't lose sight of those we aim to help. LaForce is also involved in other charitable and non-profit organizations. Our founder, Joe LaForce, instilled the importance of being a part of the community and also donating our time and money. We continue to practice this.

Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance

LaForce values employees' health and well-being. Full-time employees are able to take part in our health, dental, and vision coverage for themselves as well as spouse and dependents. The plans offer different levels of coverage allowing our employees and their families options which best fit their lifestyle.

Saving for retirement is a priority! LaForce recognizes this and offers a great 401K program. Employees are able to contribute their own money immediately into a traditional or Roth 401K. LaForce also provides a 401K match dependent upon personal contributions. 

Time Off

Leisure time away from work is important. LaForce offers employees vacation time to get away and relax. We also offer paid sick leave for family illnesses, doctor appointments and other emergency situations.

LaForce cares about the emotional well-being of our employees. We offer an employee assistance program which provides employees and their spouse/dependants free and confidential counseling

Life Insurance

LaForce provides a life insurance policy for all full-time employees and offers the option to purchase additional coverage. Spouses and children are also eligible for life insurance coverage.

Disability Insurance

LaForce provides long-term disability coverage for full-time employees covering any non-work related injury or illness after a 60 day waiting period.

With nearly 60 years experience in the door and hardware industry, LaForce has the knowledge and resources to supply building products while a building is being constructed and throughout the building's lifetime. Our Contract Sales team works closely with general contractors and architects during construction, while our Aftermarket Sales team assists building owners and facility managers with on-going building maintenance.
