Main Line Health is suburban Philadelphia’s most comprehensive healthcare resource, offering a full range of medical, surgical, obstetric, pediatric, psychiatric and emergency services.

We are comprised of four of the region’s most respected acute-care hospitals- Lankenau Medical Center, Bryn Mawr Hospital, Paoli Hospital and Riddle Hospital -as well as one of the nation’s premier facilities for rehabilitative medicine, Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital. We’re especially recognized for our cardiac, orthopedic, oncology, rehabilitation and women's clinical services.

In addition, Main Line Health trains more than 100 interns, residents and fellows annually from medical schools throughout the country. We are actively involved in numerous scientific research studies, many of which are funded by the National Institutes of Health.

Main Line Health is committed to the health and wellness of our employees. With that goal in mind, effective  May 1, 2014, Main Line Health will implement a new “Tobacco Use Impact on Employment Policy” ” aimed at reducing the use of tobacco and nicotine products among Main Line Health employees. As part of the new policy,  applicants will have to certify that they have not used tobacco products or nicotine in any form in the 90-day period prior to submitting an application to Main Line Health, and that they will remain tobacco free during their employment with the health system.

    Lankenau Hospital Wynnewood, Pennsylvania

    Established in 1860, Lankenau Hospital is an acute-care teaching hospital with an affiliated medical research center on campus. Its specialty services include: Main Line Health Heart Center, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, accredited Sleep Medicine Center; Lankenau Cancer Center; and the only kidney transplant program in the western suburbs of Philadelphia.

    The hospital has recently renovated medical and surgical patient floors, installed a comprehensive outpatient services suite, and is preparing an expanded emergency department to accommodate demand.

    The Lankenau Institute for Medical Research supports an active program of basic medical research into aging and diseases of aging, and reviews more than 200 clinical research projects underway throughout the System.

    Bryn Mawr Hospital Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania

    Established in 1893, Bryn Mawr Hospital is a full service community acute-care teaching hospital. It is known for a high level of personalized care by exceptional physicians, surgeons and nursing staff in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

    Some of its specialized departments are: Arthritis and Orthopedic Center; Center for Reproductive Medicine; Bryn Mawr Cancer Center; Main Line Health Heart Center; and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The hospital is the Main Line Health inpatient pediatric center for “duPont at Bryn Mawr,” which enables duPont Hospital for Children specialists and surgeons to treat the area’s children.

    Paoli Memorial Hospital Paoli, Pensylvania

    Located in Chester County, Paoli Memorial Hospital is a community hospital with a 211-bed licensed capacity. The Medical Staff is composed of more than 500 physicians and dentists representing a wide range of medical, surgical and diagnostic specialties. Its patient-focused care philosophy brings together small, personalized teams of physicians, nurses and technical support personnel.

    In addition to providing comprehensive medical, psychiatric, surgical and emergency services, the hospital provides a full range of diagnostic and testing capabilities; a Family Centered Maternity Unit to serve our community’s growing number of young families; and community education programs and support groups.

    Bryn Mawr Rehab Malvern, Pennsylvania

    Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital is a center of excellence for rehabilitation care and a pioneer and leader in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation.

    It offers a variety of innovative programs and services for people with physical and cognitive disabilities. Services are provided in multiple settings including an acute rehabilitation hospital, as well as at community-based sites. The hospital has a national reputation in the treatment of spinal cord injuries and brain injuries, and for medical rehabilitation using leading edge therapies.
