Job Description

Description: Building, assembling, laminating, installing, finishing and detailing cabinets and countertops in custom, mobile semi-trailers in the Walled Lake, MI facility.

1st shift: (Mon-Thr) 7:00am - 5:30pm. Must be able to work overtime and weekends deemed necessary by production. Pay is commensurate of experience.

• 3 years “hands-on” Experience in Laminate Cabinet shop environment.

• Experience with Corian

• Cutting cabinets, laminate, misc. items on the Multi Cam, Router, Plane, Crosscut Blades, Bar Clamps, Pin Nailers, Spray Finishing Equipment and/or Hand/Power Tools such as handheld rotary tools.
• Assembling cabinet boxes, countertops and prepping for laminate
• Laminating cabinets and filling/cleaning to a complete finished product
• Ability to operate and perform maintenance on all cabinet machines
• Help install cabinets as needed in trailer
• Coordinate work flow with other cell leaders.

• Diploma/GED

• Able to lift up to 50lbs continuously

• Able to bend, kneel, stoop, stand, reach, twist, climb and/or crawl

• Not afraid of heights

• Able to work in areas regularly exposed to high noise level, vibration, dust and fumes
