The NKADD is seeking a qualified individual for a full-time Fiscal Workforce Development Specialist. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated technical skills and customer service skills to perform a variety of accounting work in budgeting, analysis, account maintenance, grant management, and monitoring of Division expenditures that affect service delivery and programming. This position supports the Workforce Development Division with diverse responsibilities including accounting, budget preparation and maintenance, grant management, processing of invoices, financial reporting, compliance and monitoring, as well as program assistance. Additionally, the person in this position with have duties related to database maintenance and data analysis in addition to assistance with day-to-day requests and projects. Candidate must have strong financial management and budgeting skills as well as exceptional communication and writing skills. Knowledge of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) helpful. Graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in Liberal Arts, Public Administration, Business, Accounting or a related field supplemented by considerable progressively responsible experience in workforce development and fiscal processes and procedures; or any combination of training and experience which meets the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and a team oriented approach in working with colleagues, Board members, partner agencies and other stakeholders. Must possess solid organization skills, as well as strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Maintaining positive work relationships, as well as a professional demeanor is critical to success in this role.
