Job Description

Dock Material Handler

 

Responsible for unloading all incoming trucks and trailers as directed by Dock Supervisor, Dock Foreman, and/or Lead Workers. Sorts all materials unloaded into proper containers.  Weights all clothing carts and completes log, pushes carts to Soft Goods.  Must be able to communicate effectively and follow directions.  Able to follow all safety guidelines and proper lifting and sorting guidelines.  High School graduate or equivalent preferred.  Standing, walking, pushing, pulling, heavy lifting.  Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.  Schedule M-F and weekend work required and overtime.  Previous conviction of theft or violent crimes will exclude applicant from job.  Pay rate: $10.00 per hour ($1.00 increase after 6 months depending on performance).
