Job Description

Process Engineer
We are working with a industrial manufacturing supplier to the automotive industry that is based outside of Indianapolis, IN that is seeking a Process Engineer to join their manufacturing department. The Process Engineer will be working on the continuous improvement process for specialty fluid and rust preventative production to include, but not limited to improve efficiency, cost reduction, business strategy decisions, and Kaizen/5S projects. We are looking for someone who has a background in fluid/chemical production, process improvement, or mechanical engineering with the interpersonal and communication skills to work with multiple engineering departments. Job Requirements

We are very interested in talking to candidates with the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field of study
  • 3-5 years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment; chemical manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and technical skills to address production inefficiencies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • While not required, knowledge of Japanese business culture is a plus!
