Job Description

Digital Web Specialist

The Digital Web Specialist reports to the Director of Marketing and is responsible for digital production, strategies, and operations. Primary duties include web development and content management, SEO and social media development and strategies, Google Map and citation work, management of web reviews and social media reviews for web, mobile, social, email, etc. Projects including but not limited to analytics reporting, social media, online, email marketing, SEO and research.

Key Responsibilities:

 Coordinate and facilitate website development and promotions; coordinate social media initiatives, track and report

 Manage SEO (search engine optimization) and SERP’s (search engine results pages) and set strategic direction to deliver sustainable rankings for all websites

 Increase existing digital footprint by improving search results organically

 Write copy for digital and print collateral

 Develop and deliver solutions for citation and google map strategies across all websites

 Stay current on digital and strategic marketing trends and adjust strategies accordingly

 Coordinate workflow with design, online and production teams as needed; continue to grow complex, responsive websites for medical disciplines

 Manage digital projects from initial conception and scoping through completion; including trafficking and reporting throughout the project and maintaining budget and schedule parameters

 Write and distribute press releases and other forms of internal and external communications

 Generate presentations, reports and status updates for Director of Marketing

 Oversee the creative/branding process and assure that Florida Medical Clinic standards remain inspiring and comprehensive

 Collaborate with all internal departments so as to achieve ‘best practices’ and strategic alignment

 Govern the library of Marketing collateral and see that it is kept current and accurate

 Assist in event needs as necessary

 Assist Director of Marketing with other projects as needed

 Expected travel requirement is 10% 

Job Requirements

Digital Web Specialist

Professional Competencies:

 5-7 years of experience in digital media management in a high performance setting.

 3-5 years of experience developing strategies and implementing digital marketing campaigns

 Experience with social media advertising, retargeting and review management

 Knowledge of online reputation management

 Experience with vendor/partner negotiations

 Skills include: WordPress, Illustrator, SharePoint, HTML, and advanced web publishing systems (content management)

 Software Skills include: Microsoft Office, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Video editing

 Google Analytics, WebTrends

 Ability to work effectively with all levels of business leadership

 Experience managing and coordinating events helpful but not required

 Excellent communication skills and ability to present information to diverse audiences 

 Excellent planning, organizational, and project management skills

 Self-motivated, self-managed, and performance driven

 High ethical standards a must

 Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or similar field required; focus Digital/Interactive Multimedia.
