Job Description

This position provides administrative support to the new customer account process and to various operations areas.

Principal Responsibilities (identify 4-7 major categories of work):
Processes and records locked bags from branches on a daily basis, track returned mail and research address changes.

Sorts and distributes all incoming mail on a daily basis.

Processes applications using computerized system, and review new accounts opened on a daily basis for accuracy.

Completes litigation mailings, customer fulfillment, and data entry.

Distributes all brokerage operations reports to appropriate departments on a scheduled basis.

Performs back up responsibilities as needed.

Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency.

0-2 years relevant experience.

Additional Job Requirements:
Certification/License: FINRA Series 99 required or must be obtained within 120 days of employment.
Proficiency in basic computer skills required; ability to learn to use specific programs as needed.

Ability to communicate in a courteous and professional manner.

Organizational skills and attention to detail are required to perform office procedures in an efficient manner.

Ability to work with a team.

Ability to continually develop understanding of department policies and procedures.

Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
