Job Description

Our direct client has an immediate long term contract opportunity for a Quantitative Market Risk Analyst.  In this role you will be responsible for responsible for enhancing data quality and relevance of highly complex and sophisticated reports within Fixed Income.  There are large data sets from multiple databases including DB2, MySQL, and SQL Server.    

This is an opportunity for candidates with in depth SQL experience and a passion in data and numbers.  We are looking for an experienced problem solver that has the aptitude to identify incorrect numbers and can reverse engineer to solve the problem.  

Job Requirements

  • SQL Expertise 
  • Background in fixed income or commodities trading or operations is strongly preferred
  • Experience in Stress Testing and/or Stress Scenario Design
  • Understanding calculations such as VaR, PnL, bond duration, and convexity. 
  • Bachelor’s or graduate degree in a quantitative field (math, finance, engineering, computer science, etc.)
