Job Description

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Director of Franchise Development, the primary responsibilities of this position will be to recruit, sell and award franchises to qualified candidates (leads provided—no cold calling involved) and meeting franchise sales goals and objectives.  You will be required to effectively close sales while adhering to Federal and state franchise sales laws and Company policies and procedures.  Developing strong relationships with prospects in your pipeline and keeping them engaged throughout the process is vital to the success of this position.  Other responsibilities included in your primary functions include qualifying and assessing candidates, prompt follow-up, assisting prospects through the sales process, responding to prospect questions, in-person sales presentations, keeping management apprised of the status of your pipeline, and other administrative functions as directed.  

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Recruit, sell and award franchises to qualified candidates and meeting franchise sales goals and objectives

  • Establish a strong report with all prospects (leads provided)
  • Qualify and assess candidates
  • Educate prospects on our brand and keep them engaged throughout the process responding to questions and providing appropriate information
  • Manage your franchise sales pipeline from the initial inquiry to closing
  • Promptly and diligently respond to and follow up with all inquiries and leads
  • Adhere to company standards while being held accountable for reaching sales goals and metrics defined within your compensation plan
  • Manage and execute sales processes as directed to effectively close deals on a timely basis adhering to Federal and state franchise sales laws and Company policies and procedures
  • Deliver occasional presentations and in-person sales presentations
  • Facilitate and confirm travel arrangements with prospects attending Meet the Team days
  • Support and communicate brand quality standards, gain feedback when applicable
  • Ensure the representation of the Home Helpers vision and BOLD values are communicated and understood
2. Reporting, teamwork and other administrative tasks
  • Provide detailed notes and frequent updates on your prospective candidates, keeping management apprised of the status of your pipeline
  • Collaborate with the team and other departments, sharing best practices when applicable
  • Complete all required paperwork on a timely basis
  • Stay up-to-date on the industry, sharing best practices when applicable and work closely with the team to ensure deadlines are met
  • Work cohesively with other departments to collaborate effectively, sharing best practices to improve business and sales results

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5 years of successful selling experience in franchise sales preferred, but not required
  • Process Peak (or other CRM) experience preferred, but not required

Skills—Specialized Knowledge—Abilities

  • Excellent sales and engagement skills with the proven ability to close deals
  • Outstanding closing and follow-up skills
  • Professional, passionate and friendly attitude with the ability to influence change and quickly develop a rapport with prospective candidates over the phone and in person
  • Ability to provide solid and sound information, building trust with prospective candidates developing creditability, exercising diplomacy and confidentiality
  • Strong organizational skills with a team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to meet the demands of multiple projects and deadlines effectively with a minimum of supervision
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook;

Working Conditions:

Working Hours/Environment

  • Office hours are 40 per week – may require additional hours including evening, Meet the Team day dinners and weekends depending on business needs
  • Work typically performed in the office

Tools and Equipment Used

  • Work laptop, phone and other typical office equipment

Travel

  • Up to 5%

Physical & Mental Demands

  • Frequently required to sit at a desk/workstation for long periods of time
  • Ability to work at a computer terminal for extended periods of time
  • Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation of office equipment
  • Moderate lifting and carrying of deliveries, supplies, files, etc. – sometimes up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to speak to and hear employees/clients via phone or in person
  • Body motor skills sufficient to enable incumbent to move around the office environment
