Our Client is a full service, scratch kitchen, high volume, creative & casual cuisine concept.  This restaurant is  a unique neighborhood place, where people know your name, where the food and prices are great, where you feel special without dressing up.  They are experiencing continued & successful growth, ... a seemingly limitless hunger for creative casual cuisine.

Restaurant Assistant General Managers manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. They are responsible for developing, directing, and supervising managers and hourly Team Members to attain sales and profit objectives while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, beverage, hospitality, cleanliness, organization, and sanitation.

Job Duties:

*Promote our mission and guiding values; sets the standard for the restaurant through leadership by example.
*Ensure a harassment-free environment for all Team Members and Managers.
*Understand, comply with, and enforce all Company policies, procedures, and operating standards. & all federal/state/local laws and ordinances.
*Assist with the inventory, purchasing, receiving, and storage of Company specified products
*Management in Training (MIT) program Liaison; Supervise, train and coach managers in the MIT program.
*Responsible for Local Store Marketing and community involvement to build brand recognition
*Responsible for implementing sales contests and challenges to increase server check averages and sales by daily mentoring and coaching
*Mentor for the Certified Trainer program which focuses on training and development at all levels within the restaurant.
*Utilize and monitor training programs for all new FOH staff members.
*Creator of hourly staff Wine Development training program to educate new staff, Certified Trainers, and MITs with the goal to increase wine sales and confidence.
*Responsible for implementing and adhering to company standards regarding responsible service of alcohol by teaching and proctoring the ServSafe Alcohol course to all new staff and management.
*Continuous improvement of training and development to help increase sales.
*Daily and weekly monitoring of labor and cost of goods.
*Responsible for 40-70 employees including the FOH & BOH staff
*Mentor for the Certified Trainer program.
*Conduct and oversee all opening and closing duties for the restaurant
*Communicate with guests on a daily basis to ensure satisfaction of service and food

Job Requirements

*Minimum 2-5 years’ experience working as an Restaurant Assistant General Manager in a similar $3-$4.5 million, high volume / full service / full bar/ scratch kitchen, restaurant concept
*Drive top-line sales.
*Demonstrate P&L awareness and accountability.
*Train, coach, and counsel Team Members.
*Evaluates Team Member performance regularly.
*Knowledge and Assist with the inventory, purchasing, receiving, and storage of products.
*Ensures that all operations, recipe, specifications books, and training materials are current and maintained.
*Engage in community and marketing related opportunities at the restaurant/community
*Demonstrates knowledge of entire menu and preparation
*Must have sufficient mobility including, but not limited to bending, turning, twisting upper body, reaching.
*Be able to transport and carry objects up to 50 pounds.

Must have 2-5 years (RECENT) Restaurant AGM experience in a similar concept Restaurant
Excellent Job Tenure - no more than 2 jobs in 5 years or 3 jobs in 9 years

Must live within 30 minutes of location.
