Job Description

The Homestead at Anoka is seeking a Human Resources Manager to provide exceptional internal customer service to site leadership and staff at our senior living campus.  Your goal as part of our interdisciplinary team will be partner to provide a positive work environment, manage HR programs in place or that are being developed, and recruit for health care staff.

The Homestead at Anoka offers senior living accommodating to the aging population in Anoka, MN.  We offer independent and assisted living as well as skilled nursing, short-term rehab and memory support.  As part of Volunteers of America,

Job Requirements

1. Minimum five (5) years Human Resources and administrative experience.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail and Internet.
3. Proven ability to manage multiple projects to a deadline.
4. Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
5. Strong interpersonal skills; consumer focused.
6. Attentive to detail.
7. Flexible.
8. Strong organizational skills.
9. Resourceful.
10. High degree of professionalism; able to deal with extremely confidential information.
11. Works well independently and with minimal supervision.
12. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos.  Ability to prepare written correspondence.
13. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
14. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but basic written or oral instructions.
15. Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, in-servicing and documentation.
