Job Description

Connect Search has an immediate need for an Accounting Clerk for a large consumer products company in Chicago.  Due to a large increase in the workload, the Accounting Manager would like the Accounting Clerk to start immediately.  The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for A/R, A/P, invoices, assisting with reconciling bank statements, and basic payroll entry.  The Accounting Clerk will also be responsible for processing and auditing expense reports and basic analysis.  The ideal Accounting Clerk  have 3+ years of previous accounting experience, and be proficient with Excel. Job Requirements

Responsible for ensuring all incoming (A/P) and outgoing (A/R) invoices are properly recorded and processed timely and accurately; additionally handles expense report processing, bank reconciliations, goods receipts and/or payroll entry.  

Education and Special Skills 
• Undergraduate degree in a business field, preferably Accounting, or related experience.
• Superior ability to multi-task and detail oriented
• Intermediate excel skills, experience with other MS Office products, and experience with a medium-sized ERP solution

Experience (years and type)
• 3 years of accounting experience processing invoices
