Children’s Day Program (CDP)
TITLE: Children & Families Services Coordinator SUPERVISOR: Principle
Licensed Psychologist is a member of the CDP Management Team and is responsible but not limited to: the coordination of all Psychological and Social Work services, assisting in the interviewing and hiring of new staff and/or contract therapist, and is held accountable for supervision of all staff within the Children Family Service Department.
E- Connotes Essential Functions.
E-1 Supervise all Psychologist and Social Workers within the department
E-2 Assists Human resources in the Interview and hiring process
E-3 Accountable for ongoing staff supervision, evaluations, and end of year performance appraisals
E-4 Conducts, documents and reports all disciplinary actions and or employee performance concerns with supervisor and Human resources department
E-5 Ensures that all Psychologist and Social Workers are in compliance with all policies and guidelines set forth by the school, DOH and SED
E-6 Ensures that all children are receiving services per IEP/IFSP.
E-7 Ensure that evaluations are being completed in a timely fashion.
E-8 Writes logs and reports as required.
E-9 Provide services per children’s IEP/IFSP.
E-10 Ensures that all therapists are submitting logs and reports as required.
E-11 Monitor productivity of each therapist in the department
E-12 Participates as a member of the CDP Management team.
E-13 Interacts with parents, staff and other outside agencies in a positive manner to facilitate the development of good working relationships.
E-14 Provides consultation for staff when requested in regards to suggestions, ideas and information for classroom or individual intervention.
E-15 Capable of lifting a child weighing 45 pounds throughout the day.
Adheres to all policies and procedures.
Develops and provides in-service training for staff.
Attends and participates in scheduled management meetings.
Performs Psychological evaluations as needed
Conducts weekly staff meetings, share information and attend monthly staff meeting.
Participates in projects and committees as needed.
Assign and supervise practicum students as needed.
Attends training/conferences for professional growth.
Maintains a positive working relationship with administration, staff and parents.
All other duties as assigned.

A: A minimum of a PHD in Psychology
B: Valid NYS License
C: Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
D: Good interpersonal skills
E A minimum of 3 years working as a psychologist with children.
