Job Description

Front-End Developer - Web/Mobile Apps

Location: New York, NY (Midtown Manhattan)

Duration: 6 Month RTH or Direct Hire

Must be eligible for W2 employment. No agencies please.
Must be able to work on-site in New York City.

Job Description:

The Front-End Developer will be working in a team environment in the design and execution of Web and Mobile products. Develop and test across multiple browsers, platforms, and device, including mobile and tablet. This role requires a deep understanding and experience in eCommerce, Mobile, Order Management and Point of Sale with an Omni-Channel brand or Retailer. This ideal candidate is a creative thinker with strong experience in front-end technical skills and user experience (UX).

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3, and NodeJS.
  • Strong knowledge in Web frameworks, AJAX web UIs, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with CSS pre-processors such as LESS/SASS
  • Experience interfacing with RESTful services
  • Excellent general programming skills and understanding of OO concepts
  • Experience in Responsive Web Development for multi-touch devices
  • Working knowledge of UI principles and User Experience (UX) a plus
  • Must be independent and creative in approach to problems and issues; assertive, tenacious, proactive
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
