Job Description

This position provides administrative and secretarial support for several vice presidents overseeing various service lines. In addition to word processing, filing, and scheduling, the Executive Assistant may perform duties such as financial record keeping, coordination of meetings and conferences, obtaining supplies, coordinating department activities, and working on special projects.  Executive Assistant will deal with a diverse group of external callers and visitors, as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize an ever-changing and diversified workload. The Executive Assistant is a key part of the Administrative Support team and continuously works to promote positive working relationships with fellow team members.

Job Requirements

Education: Associates Degree or 60 hours college credit required

Experience: 3-7 years executive support required (VP and above)

 

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

 

  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.

  • Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials.

  • Must be able to establish priorities, multi-task and meet deadlines.

  • Must have strong working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in the Microsoft Office suite of programs (Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook Calendar, Excel, etc.).

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a cooperative manner with all levels of the team. 

  • Position continually requires poise, tact and diplomacy.

  • Formal business attire environment.
