Scientist - Analytical III
 
Description:
The Scientist will be a part of the Protein Characterization group whose mission statement is: “Design comprehensive analytical protein characterization plans to meet our collaborators’ expectations and deliver high quality data on time by efficiently using best-in-class technologies for our assets".
 
Responsibilities:
  • Support the development, execution, and qualification of analytical methods as part of the protein characterization team.
  • Competency in biophysical characterization methods, e.g. Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Analytical Ultracentrifugation (AUC), and Circular Dichroism (CD), and/or mass spectrometry of proteins.
  • Work with both mass spectrometric and biophysical methods.
  • Lab-based role.

Qualifications:
  • B.S. and 6+ years of relevant experience OR M.S. and 3+ years of relevant experience OR Ph.D. and 1+ years of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience.
  • Experience with protein characterization methods and knowledge of biotherapeutic proteins is required.
  • An understanding of biosimilars is highly desired.
  • Demonstrated ability to document and report GxP data.
