Job Description

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Vice President of Franchise Development, the primary responsibilities of this position will be to provide support in managing the franchise development sales process domestically and internationally.  Functions include lead generation management, screening prospects, coordinating franchise sales meetings and marketing campaigns, new franchisee follow-up, market research, and other general office administration as needed, or directed.  You will be required to effectively close sales while adhering to Federal and State franchise sales laws and Company policies and procedures.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

1.  Provide support in managing the franchise development sales process domestically and internationally
    • Establish initial rapport with prospects (leads provided)
    • Prescreen and qualify prospects to verify that they meet minimum qualifications, directing leads to respective FDC, Director and/or VP of Franchise Development
    • Manage and maintain franchise development lead generation system to ensure timely responses to leads and reporting of current information
    • Work with Forum Analytics to ensure timely data refresh
    • Work closely with the marketing team and assisting the VP of Franchise Development in creating annual departmental plans, new sales programs, collateral and other materials as needed, or directed
    • Conduct market research and prepares proposals for new domestic and international territories
    • Maintain sales tracking reports and prepares monthly updates
    • Promptly and diligently respond to and follow up with all inquiries and leads
    • Adhere to company standards while being held accountable for reaching sales goals and metrics defined within your compensation plan
    • Adhere to Federal and state franchise sales laws and Company policies and procedures
    • Facilitate and confirm travel arrangements with prospects attending Meet the Team days
    • Support and communicate brand quality standards, gain feedback when applicable
    • Support the representation of the brand and its mission and vision statement by providing excellent support to all proscpects and team members

2.  Reporting, teamwork and other administrative tasks
    • Assists with preparing and coordinating sales presentations, including webinars
    • Manage and maintain Franchise Development LinkedIn site
    • Handle all in-house franchise sales related calls throughout the business day
    • Provide detailed notes and frequent updates on your prospective candidates
    • Work cohesively with other departments to collaborate effectively, sharing best practices to improve business and sales results
    • Provide general administrative support to the sales department, as needed or directed



Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business-related field, or equivalent years of experience
  • 1-3 years experience in professional sales position preferred, with at least some training and experience in sales processes
  • Strong administrative and organizational experiences, preferably in a sales support position
  • CRM experience preferred, but not required

  • Professional, passionate and friendly attitude both over the phone and in person
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills and be detail orientated with a team player mindset and ability to be discrete with confidential information
  • Ability to effectively problem solve and meet the demands of multiple projects and deadlines effectively
  • Excellent proficiency with general Microsoft Office: Outlook—exceptional strength in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong technological skills with the ability to navigate through general computer applications and software (general training will be provided for job specific programs/software)

Working Conditions:

Working Hours/Environment

  • Office hours are 40 per week – may require additional hours including evenings attending ocassional "Meet the Team Day" dinners and weekends depending on business needs
  • Work typically performed in the office

  • Work laptop, phone and other typical office equipment

Travel

  • Up to 5%

Physical & Mental Demands

  • Frequently required to sit at a desk/workstation for long periods of time
  • Ability to work at a computer terminal for extended periods of time
  • Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation of office equipment
  • Moderate lifting and carrying of deliveries, supplies, files, etc. – sometimes up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to speak to and hear employees/clients via phone or in person
  • Body motor skills sufficient to enable incumbent to move around the office environment
