Job Description

Austin Allen Company has an opportunity for a tenacious professional who desires to be a key contributor to a prime organization’s human capital goals. Our client is one of the nation’s leading wood products manufacturers, with several locations across the country, and is looking for a new HR Manager in its Southern regional plant.

Salary: $60,000 – $75,000 Plus Excellent Benefits and Relocation Packages

This position reports directly to the Regional HR Business Partner

Located minutes from a desirable Southern city that is rich in history with attractions, popular universities, and a nearby military base.  Steeped in tourism, the area is home to several casinos and riverboats, shopping, live music, festivals, and good eateries.

Job Requirements

  • Five years of similar roles within HR, with a minimum of 2 years advanced education
  • Demonstrate effectiveness in the areas of employee relations, performance management, and labor law
  • Lead HR initiatives and support management in achieving plant goals
  • Make recommendations/execute coaching, mentorships, and grievance adjudication
  • Collaborate with management and corporate offices
