Job Description

Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement a Full Time permanent placement company is conducting a search for a Human Resources Manager to work for our client an established Licensed Home Care Agency located in Queens, New York.  

About the position: 
The Human Resource Manager works closely with Employees and New Hires to ensure compliance with all State and Federal Hiring Guidelines, Labor Laws and Regulations.  The Human Resources Manager builds relationships with Employees and Promotes a positive work environment at all times. 

HR Manager Qualifications: 
  • Must have a minimum of 1-2 years experience working for a Licensed Agency in New York State 
  • Must have HR Generalist experience and previous management experience 
  • Ability to oversee Recruitment, Retention, Onboarding, Compliance activities 
  • Must have leadership and team building skills 
  • Human Resources Manager must be resourceful, organization and a forward thinker 
  • Ability to build a team and keep up with the hiring demands required for a growing company 
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred 
  • Human Resources CEU or Certification Preferred 

This is a full time position offering PTO and Health Benefits

Job Requirements

HR Manager Requirements: 
  • Oversees all HR functions including but not limited to On-boading, Recruiting, Mediation, Benefits, Compliance 
  • Maintains accurate and up to date personnel files, benefits and company information as required by Administrator 
  • Ensures compliance with DOH, State and Federal Guidelines  
  • Promotes leadership and team building activities 
  • Is a resources for all employees
  • Is reliable and dependable 
  • Offers guidance to staff while adhering to company policies and procedures 
  • Takes direction from leadership and ask for guidance when appropriate
