Fifth Third Bank's Wholesale division offers banking, cash management, and financial services to large and middle market businesses, government, and specialized industries. In addition to traditional lending and depository offerings, our commercial products and services include global cash management, foreign exchange and international trade finance, derivatives and capital markets services, asset-based lending, real estate finance, commercial leasing, and syndicated finance. Our sales process drives the delivery of financial solutions through a relationship team consisting of subject-matter experts who ensure all aspects of our client's needs are assessed and met.

This position will provide a wide range of complex analytical/presentation support to the Corporate Banking group. Position will also entail utilization of analytical and modeling skills to provide consistent data and reporting support as part of a team of Analysts to deliver a high quality work product. Also will develop, manage and maintain financial models, comparable company and transaction databases as well presentation materials.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
# Build and understand complex financial models
# Perform complex financial analysis with minimal oversight
# Create high-impact presentation materials using PowerPoint, Excel, Word and other relevant software programs
# Work well as part of a team in a high stress environment
# Develop good working relationships with peers and seniors in Credit, Capital Markets and the rest of the organization
# Manage priorities while working on a number of high priority opportunities simultaneously
# Complete basic credit and corporate finance overview and analysis independently
# Serve as support to the Managing Directors and be capable of making internal and external presentations to support the effort of the team

Job Requirements

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
# 1 - 3 years of experience in Commercial Banking, Investment Banking, M&A or Capital Markets
# Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, with an overall GPA of 3.5+
# Strong financial modeling/credit underwriting skills
# Excellent presentation skills, both oral and written
# Experience creating pitch books
# Strong analytical skills and good working knowledge of financial modeling
