Job Description

We are assisting a triad area logistics company in their search for a Marketing Manager. The perfect candidate will partner with sales and marketing leaders to ensure all internal and external communications are properly positioned for the target audience 

Our client develops platforms which connect offline and online transactions in real time for the world’s largest retailers, manufacturers and trading partners across multiple industries. Their headquarters are located in one of Forbes Magazines "Best Downtowns in America" and have locations throughout the US, Mexico, & Canada.

The candidate they are seeking will develop and execute marketing plans to achieve the financial and strategic objectives of the government channel. The government product suite is a combination of existing B2B products in three business divisions modified for the government audience as well as net new products developed specifically for the government needs.

  • Research and define the total addressable market, target audiences, buyer personas and competitive landscape
  • Develop and apply ideation discipline to enable product and sales teams to facilitate product development, product positioning and the commercial B2B buying process
  • Develop and execute the go-to-market product strategy, including both external and external audiences.
  • Support the development and implementation of the annual marketing plan for the government channel.
  • Generate thought leadership and lead generation strategy using various tactics such as email campaigns, webinars, search engine marketing, trade shows, advertising, social media, etc.
  • Identify, monitor and report on the key metrics for all marketing activities to maximize return on investment and resource allocation.
  • Work with Creative Design, Marketing Operations and Senior Content Manager to produce collateral and event support.
  • Support marketing leadership as needed on other initiatives.
  • Develop strong relationships with sales counterparts, product and marketing leadership.

Job Requirements

Preferred Requirements/Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5+ years’ experience in business-to-business marketing, working with product development and sales teams and/or marketing experience in the government channel
