Cincinnati coin manufacturer, Osborne Coinage, is looking for a full-time Project Coordinator to efficiently manage the new monthly collectible coin projects and other new projects, as needed, from inception to product delivery.  

You’ll work closely with the Director of Business and Product Development, interfacing with customers, artists, sculptors, engravers, photographers and all our internal departments to create exciting new coin projects.  

We’re looking for a talented, curious, detail-oriented individual who has good critical thinking/reasoning abilities, at least three years of project coordination experience and wants to grow their career.

Main responsibilities

• Develop and manage a project timeline in Excel for each new project with key milestones, team members and dependencies

• Proactively track all timeline items including planning/scheduling each project, creating sales orders, materials ordering, payment received and ensure all delivery dates and quality standards are being met 

• Report weekly to Director of Business and Product Development how each project is progressing, identifying and providing solutions for any roadblocks and confirming project is on-time for delivery with 100% accuracy in the final product 

• Work closely with customers, internal departments and external vendors (e.g. artists, sculptors, engravers, photographers) to create new monthly coin collections.  Manage their expectations throughout the process (e.g., communicate progress and/or changes to their order timely, etc.)

• Create and maintain high customer satisfaction by ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all orders

• Determine which collaboration tools would work best for all project members to use for each project 

• Manage non-standard project related inventory (e.g. certificates, packaging), as needed

• Handle all product reorders from sales order to delivery



Job Requirements

Qualifications

Only candidates who meet the requirements will be considered

• Bachelor’s degree required; Bachelor of Science degree in Finance or Engineering preferred

• Three years of project coordination work experience and/or Project Management certification required 

• Manufacturing experience preferred

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational, time management, oral and written skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external customers and negotiate effectively 

• Intellectual curiosity, ability to think creatively, willingness to learn and pick up new things quickly

• Strong problem solving/critical thinking skills, multi-tasking skills, change oriented

• Strong work ethic, self-motivated, flexible, calm under pressure and a professional demeanor

• Enjoys working in a customer focused environment and is interested in art/appreciates aesthetic beauty

• Ability to lift 25 lbs.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) including building formulas and creating project timelines in Excel; experience in Access, Goldmine, project management software, Macola Progression Workflow Explorer preferred
 
Position is 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, between 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Salary range is between $35,000 - $57,500 with bonus opportunity and benefits.  No relocation offered.  We also have an in-house fitness center with yoga, running and weight training.
