Manpower is looking for an experienced Technical Writer with desktop publishing experience


The job is located in Boston, MA Monday - Friday 8-5pm PAYING $70


This assignment is for 8 months


Job Description


• Serves as point person for Human Resources internal communication needs

• Identifies creative and innovative ways to communicate strategic initiatives to employees

• Leads the HR editorial board work and responsible for aligning communications across all HR centers of expertise

• Writes and edits content and acts as a trusted editorial voice for other HR team members

• Manages the distribution of content through email, the HR intranet and other avenues

• Continuously evaluates and improves the editorial process, establishing department-wide best practices

• Produces clear and concise visual content via a strong understanding of design best practices

• Selects and edits photographs and graphics for publication

• Produces finished type, layout, art, and graphics for email, web and other communications

• Manages the posting and maintenance of content to the HR intranet

• Tracks and analyzes content traffic and interprets/reports on results

• May work closer with vendors and internal stakeholders to improve site experience for employees

• Active participant in proactively continuing to evolve HR content and web presence


Qualifications:

• Strong writing, editing and content design skills

• Able to manage multiple deliverables and effectively handle demands from multiple customers and competing priorities

• Content management software experience

• Minimum 8 to 10 years in writing and editing, desktop publishing, managing content and building and enhancing websites (preferably internal)

• Strong working knowledge of MS Office products (especially Word, Excel and Outlook) and WordPress
