Manufacturing Engineer - Paint: Growing manufacturing organization in Chicago, IL Area. Position #405

  • Privately held with corporate offices, engineering, sales and manufacturing located in Chicagoland
Position Overview 
  • Develop, evaluate and improve (paint) manufacturing methods
  • Design efficient equipment and workspace layouts in paint department
  • Ensures efficient production methods by working with planning and design staff
  • Purchase equipment, materials and parts necessary to produce quality products
  • Ability to use statistical methods to estimate manufacturing requirements
  • Perform process routings and part programming for paint department

Job Requirements

Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Technology
  • Two (2) or more years experience in coordinating paint manufacturing processes
  • Experience in painting technologies and systems
  • Project experience in a new paint system installation
  • Understands Lean Manufacturing tools and concepts
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer
