BASIC FUNCTION

The Production Manager e-Commerce is responsible for maintaining the highest quality ecommerce experience for the LRUS business. Attentive to detail, process-oriented and technology fluent, this person owns product content on the website, driving the entire content production process from curation to publishing and optimization. The Production Manager e-Commerce is customer-focused and solution-oriented, has a passion for flawless execution, collaborative, has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working across the organization to ensure an efficient and effective website experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•Own the curation, creation and publication of all ecommerce content including images, descriptions, pricing, and other on-page assets.
•Manage day to day activities relevant to Ecommerce business process and improvements.
•Develop a streamlined content strategy, process, and pipeline to support the ecommerce experience
•Define content standards for e-store, and develop master guide to be adhered to across the business.
•Strategize and implement SEO best practices and metadata to ensure discoverability of LRUS products. Measure, report and optimize SEO results.
•Verify and test content to ensure the best user experience and adherence to brand guidelines and standards.
•Review, analyze and proactively use data to make suggestions to optimize ecommerce performance.
•Business owner and lead for LRUS of Product Portal back end tool. Main business point of contact for internal technology teams to ensure portal quality and consistency, including tickets, QA, Testing, and other day-to-day tasks.
•Responsible for on-site search, establishing standards to improve results for customers and regularly testing, optimizing and reporting.
•Leverage data and business acumen to identify and respond to trends in the business that may impact site initiatives
•Support digital marketing efforts to increase ecommerce revenue.
•Manage special projects on an as-needed basis.

Job Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

Experience:
Minimum Experience:
•Three or more years of experience in e-commerce and/or website management; demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly
•Understanding of content management technologies, platforms and systems, apps, in-store experiences technologies
•Strong interpersonal skills and team oriented, with ability to cultivate productive internal partner and external vendor relationships
•Proven project management skills
•Highly proficient in SEO best practices
•Experience with content tagging using Coremetrics, Google Analytics or other enterprise-level tracking.
•Highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications. Experience with the following: HTML, Adobe Photoshop, VISIO, MS Project, search software and .NET CMS (such as Umbraco or Sitecore)
•Knowledge of Jama and/or Jira tools
•Entry-level or intermediate web design/development skills preferred
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask; highly organized.
•Solutions oriented

Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
•Familiarity of the end to end ecommerce process across systems

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Occasional travel as required. 5% or less domestic travel required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Normal office environment.
