Job Description

Business Development (Workers Comp Federal Government Market)

The Vice President of Business Development will achieve the strategic financial goals of the business by driving new business within the Workers Comp Federal Government Market.

• Develop a qualified target account list to include revenue goals based on VP existing relationships and growth opportunity for One Call Care Management, agreed upon by Chief Business Development Officer.
• Identify consultative solutions with senior and mid-level executives at client companies to highlight One Call Care Management value proposition.
• Build client proposals, negotiate, and close business opportunities utilizing internal team as needed.
• Interface with internal departments as needed to facilitate program and service execution.  
• Develop and cultivate deep senior level relationships with new clients.
• Update and maintain focused sales pipeline with expected timelines and growth objectives.
• Ensure customers’ needs and organizational products and services are aligned with One Call Care Management’s corporate financial growth goals. 
• Address client issues, questions and concerns regarding One Call Care Management products and services, bringing in internal subject matter experts as needed.
• Represent One Call Care Management at national industry conferences and trade shows establishing new contacts and appointments for future sales.
• Achieve budgeted revenue growth per organizational goals.
• Represent One Call Care Management as industry subject matter expert by speaking for groups, writing papers and articles as the opportunity presents itself. 
• Solicit and respond to RFPs and proposals for new business opportunities.
• Perform other duties assigned as deemed necessary by management.
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) required, MBA or related graduate degree preferred. 5 to 10 years of experience in the Workers Comp Federal Government Segment, with a strong familiarity of the government procurement process. 5-10 years of successful experience closing large government contracts. Previous experience working collaboratively with channel partners and bringing new services to new markets.  

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Outstanding planning and problem solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and strategic agility.
• Presents well in person with strong executive presence.

• The work environment utilizes florescent lighting; noise level is moderate
• The emotional demand of the job may cause undue stress from, but not limited to, moderate/heavy workload
