We are looking for a Sales Support Specialist for our Beaverton location. In this role, you will work in the fast paced, challenging world of refined oils procurement, sales and project management, by working closely with senior traders and administrative team members who are involved in cutting-edge food products. The focus of your role to manage the proper processing, accounting, and delivery of purchase and sales orders, and service to customers, while efficiently and effectively managing the flow of paperwork and communication (inside and outside of our organization). Daily Duties Include: • You'll arrive and take in pertinent information from team members that will influence how you'll develop a plan to accomplish the most important work of the day, for yourself and senior traders. Prioritization is key to focusing throughout the day in the fast paced environment. • Support our trading team by processing their orders through the entire sales life cycle. You will: o enter and manage open orders working as a liaison between Sales and Buying teams to keep orders accurate, and with internal contacts to get order processed o manage inventory using FIFO and maintaining lot control o managing logistics to figure out how to get product where it needs to go. You will dispatch and coordinate with Carriers/Brokers to ensure shipments are on time, and coordinate receiving as well as releases of orders with shipping warehouses. After trucks are dispatched, request receiving the Bill of Lading/shipping documents, in order to process receiving and invoicing. o Key in payables to vendors, invoices to customers of orders shipped and reconcile AP • Be the "go to" person the team who solve problems, tracks down information, and is focused on making things easier for colleagues and customers. Ideal Candidate Qualities Include: • Has been doing a similar administrative sales role for 1 – 3 years who has a lot of logistics experience • Is passionate about managing processes and tasks so they can make things better and easier • Loves to be organized and delights in delving into the details • Has a natural love of getting things done through and for the people who rely on you - customers and colleagues • Is resourceful and persistent problem solver, the "go to" person • Can effectively and efficiently multitask in a fast paced environment • Is comfortable with technology and loves finding a new shortcut • Has a sense of humor and fun If you are qualified and interested, please submit your resume and salary requirements to: [Click Here to Email Your Resumé]
