Job Description

This position will require the Facility Security Officer to manage with all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program ensuring the requirements of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) are implemented to prevent unauthorized disclosure of classified information. Must be able to prioritize and multi-task.

Regional Security Manager role, supporting BAE Systems security managers for BAE Systems Mt. Laurel NJ and Pittsburgh PA.

Manages all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). Ensuring National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM) compliance within the Wayne/Totowa NJ Facilities.

Interprets policy, develops and implements security plans and procedures.

Provides security guidance to company personnel and advises Security Director and Senior Management. Responsible for direct supervision of security staff, budget and allocation of resources.

Investigating and reporting security violations/adverse information reports with the cognizant government agency.

Conduct general and program specific briefings.

Responsible for the development with and compliance of Security Practice and Procedures (SPP)

Participation in the development and execution of security education programs.

Responsible for Security reviews to include: Defense Security Service visits and formal self inspections overseeing implementation/completion of corrective action plans.

Participates with the Staff Assistance program, providing a \"selfinspection review of a BAE Systems siteas requested.

Ensuring Closed area construction requirements are met, ultimately receiving Self Certification.

Knowledgeable on International requirements to include: Government to Government shipments, Foreign Visitor requirements, and Export compliance.

Assist with Chapter 8 (Information Technology Security) requirements to include: development, approval and review of Automated Information Systems

Represents Security with local site leadership (Site Executive team)

Participate with the local Crisis Management Team.

Along with the Asset Protection Manager, establishes and maintains physical security systems, plant protection, contingency plans and emergency response.

Develops and implements improved methods of inspections, audits, and analysis of security functions to determine performance and cost effectiveness.

Minimum Education And Experience
Bachelor's Degree and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills And Education

Current Top Secret Clearance.

Experience with the PC's and office software, strong report writing skills. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Knowledge and experience of managing classified programs.

Decision making and reasoning skills.

Knowledge of contractor operations, computer, physical, technical and personnel security requirements.
Working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM).
