Based from your home office anywhere in the United States, you will be the primary consultant that your hotel properties turn to for advice on such matters as pricing strategy, yield management, third party website marketing, online presence, social media, marketing and consumer review sites. We look for this person to have a minimum of five years of hotel experience, preferably as a property regional, or corporate level revenue manager, or with equivalent experience. Your highly tuned interpersonal and communication skills will allow you to facilitate your weekly yield management meetings to discuss the successes of the prior week with your hotel group while making recommendations to enhance future revenue growth. This relationship will be a true partnership as you will work with members to identify and develop marketing opportunities and strategies by completing thorough competitive market analyses for your assigned properties on a weekly basis. Attention to detail will be critical as you conduct all rate changes weekly on behalf of the assigned hotels using both the Property Management (PM) systems via remote software and Extranets. This, combined with your love of data analysis will help you as you conduct and maintain demand forecasts and pace reports for your hotel group. A Certified Hotel Revenue Manager (CHRM) certification or Certified Revenue Management Executive (CRME) certification, or the ability to acquire either certification within one year of hire, is required. Strong technical skills with Microsoft Office are expected.
