Job Description

Judge Healthcare is actively seeking a Behavioral Health Care Advocate for a Contract position with a Large Healthcare client! This is a Remote/Work from Home Opportunity! The contract is set to go until at least the end of the year!

This job will have the following responsibilities:
  • Perform utilization management activities to ensure continuum of care
  • Review cases and analyze clinical information  to determine appropriateness of hospitilization
  • Refer Patients to Case Management Programs
  • Assist with the developing of Treatment Plans
  • Collaborate with Medical Directors and Other Peers when appropriate
  • Perform discharge planning according to Patient's Benefits
  • Perform Prior Authorization Reviews of Outpatient and Inpatient Behavioral Health Services
  • Initial and Concurrent Review

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Must be able to support MST
  • Must be able to have a dedicated hard phone line specifically for position and broadband internet
  • Current/Unrestricted LCSW, LMFT or Registered Nurse license
  • 2+ years of Utilization Management experience
  • 5+ years of Clinical Experience in an inpatient/acute or outpatient setting
  • Intermediate to Advanced Computer Skills with Internet Explorer, Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Prior Behavioral Health Utilization Review experience is a plus!
  • Experience in discharge planning is a plus!
