Compensation: $14.00 to $16.00 per hour

Our client is seeking a Publishing Assistant! The Publishing Assistant supports all areas of magazine production, with an emphasis on magazine circulation coordination. He or she is responsible for a variety of tasks, including performing administrative duties, corresponding with authors and photographers, and coordinating production processes. He or she is also responsible for managing multiple social media and web properties. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized self-starter with superior organizational skills. MAGAZINE CIRCULATION • Run import and export subscriber reports daily using QuickFill software • Answer all customer service calls and emails • Send daily e-commerce revenue report to accounting • Coordinate weekly check deposit • Create monthly subscriber invoices • Produce monthly advertiser invoices • Mail all renewal efforts and invoices to both subscribers and advertisers • Mail replacement issues to subscribers • Generate bimonthly ad index spreadsheet MAGAZINE ADMINISTRATIVE • Create and mail author contracts • Create all payment paperwork for contracts • Correspond and coordinate with authors • Create social media posts for the magazine • Download monthly e-book reports • Assist with basic copyediting and proof corrections

Job Requirements
