Compensation: $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year

Currently seeking an IP Engineer to perform tasks related to deploying new technologies and upgrades to the current network infrastructure. 40% to 50% of the expected responsibility of this position involves analysis, design, development, and testing. Performs implementation of new hardware and/or software as it relates to internet operation engineering projects. Maintains the lifecycle management environment within the Data Center and Local Offices; Assists with upgrades to the internet product and all-inclusive IP routing/switching. Assists with the creation of Low Level Design (LLD) documentation for configuration templates, method of procedures, network diagrams, knowledge base articles, bill of materials and support documentation. Conducts training for new technology integration, technology upgrades, new product design, and implementation to relevant business needs. Analyzes project requests to estimate time and cost. Works as part of a project team to determine requirements, risks, and limitations for each project scope. Performs on-call duties and overnight network changes as assigned. Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred; and minimum two years related progressive experience in a network engineering role required. Previous working background in an MSO (Multiple System Operators) in the cable industry preferred. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, detail oriented journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
