Job Description

SUMMARY

• Prepares monthly financial statements for distribution to executive management
• Compares and analyzes actual results to budget and forecast
• Prepares reporting to evaluate the impact of product initiatives and more effective operational strategies
• Increases productivity by assisting in the roll out of automated accounting applications
• Supervises team members

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Generates and analyzes monthly financial statements for distribution to executive management
• Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare journal entries
• Acts as a point of contact for business lines with financial and accounting questions
• Works alongside business lines to understand actual to budget variances and develop full year forecasts. Participates in the forecast and budget development for the business lines supported.
• Prepares ad-hoc financial analysis to support business operations and decision making
• Analyzes performance metrics to identify key drivers for profitability. Work with departments to build and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Prepares financial models to forecast profitability for various business initiatives
• Initiates improvements to current processes to increase efficiencies
• Supervises, mentors, and trains team members
• Provides exceptional AAA Five Diamond service to all points of contact
• Monitors compliance with GAAP and internal policies
• Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• B.A. in Accounting is required.
• Five plus years' of related accounting experience required.
• Complete familiarity with in-depth general ledger analysis, financial statement preparation and interpretation.
• Strong analytical skills, including attention to detail and the ability to work with tight deadline.
• Strong relationship building skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of senior management
• Strong communication skills
• Team player
• Must be able to pass satisfactory background check, drug test and credit check.
