Responsibilities:

  • Collect data and produce, troubleshoot, and distribute routine reports regarding project operations on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis on an aggressive, deadline-oriented schedule.

  • Deliver ad hoc reports per business needs.

  • Translate stakeholders’ requirements into reporting deliverables.

  • Research and document key reporting requirements with an understanding of business processes, contract deliverables, and resource limitations.

  • Write SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.

  • Study multiple data sources for possible consolidation in common reporting database to ensure consistency between reports.

  • Assemble and analyze data for business reports, making sure data and calculations are accurate.

  • Coordinate work across multiple disciplines or organizations.

  • Work with Risk Management and Audit departments in providing data for analysis.

  • Work closely with management to identify opportunities for process improvement.

  • Keep abreast of developments within the broad area of IT/Technology and look for opportunities to apply them to the company and department goals.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • 4 year college degree preferred

  • 2 - 4 years’ related loan servicing experience within the mortgage banking industry

  • Coding experience with SQL

  • Experience creating, updating and maintaining business requirements documents

  • Understanding of database systems

  • Experience working with mortgage servicing systems such as MSP/Black Knight

  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of reporting

  • Ability to work with all level of individuals as a team player

  • Ability to rely on instructions and guide oneself by corporate goals and objectives

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, including the ability to filter, prioritize, analyze and validate information

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and be self-motivated

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to be effectively influential with people at all levels of the organization

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Access, SharePoint, PowerPoint
